Living Nature Nourishing Hand Cream.

Living Nature is a skincare line from New Zealand that has the prestige of being certified natural by the BDIH.  Who is the BDIH?  The BDIH is a German association of pharmaceuticals, health care products, food supplements, and personal hygiene products.  In 1996, the BDIH established strict formulation guidelines for cosmetics to be considered certified organic.  There are only over 100 natural cosmetics companies that carry the BDIH Natural Cosmetics Seal.  Now that is prestigious.

The loving people at Living Nature sent me a box of certified goodness.  One of their outstanding products is their Nourishing Hand Cream.  Working at a corporation (yes, I have a career too), I am exposed to harsh soaps in the restroom and kitchen that just strip my hands of any life-giving oils (remember this post?).  I always keep a bottle of hand moisturizer on my desk to replenish moisture and to keep my hands youthful so they age with grace.

Living Nature Nourishing Hand Cream contains manuka honey.  Manuka  is known for its anti-fungal and healing properties.  According to the Medicine Hunter Chris Kilham’s appearance on the Dr. Oz Show, we should  all add manuka oil to our first aid kits!  Manuka is indigenous to New Zealand.  As it heals, manuka honey provides a protective barrier to the skin.  It is an ideal healer for skin ulcers and burns.

Larch tree extract also makes an appearance in this BDIH certified natural hand cream.  The larch tree is a member of the pine tree family.   Larch tree extract provides moisture, elasticity, and radiance to skin.

Living Nature Nourishing Hand Cream is a light cream and goes on easily.  I recommend to let hands soak it up for one minute before returning to your normal activity.  Living Nature also suggests to add a few drops of their Radiance Night Oil to the cream for an overnight hand treatment.  This past Thanksgiving week, I left my cream on my desk at work while I was away in California.  This was the first time we were away and it will never happen again!
